Rivers & Christian’s approach to retail design is to focus on a unique element that will maximize the impact of the store’s aesthetics and complement the display of the merchandise. In the case of Treat Me Sweet, the colors used for the packaging were combined into a visually pleasing kaleidoscope of shapes and colors to create an extensive canvas that contours from the facade to the ceiling and terminates at the face of the baked sweets. The design element serves as a standalone piece within the footprint of the store as well as effectively identifies the retail’s “sweet goods” merchandise from across the terminal.
