SOL SURF

TERMINAL ONE, LAX, CA.

As part of Westfield's Los Angeles International Airport concession upgrades designed to provide a hip, modern California look that taps into the LA feeling and energy. This 794-square-foot retail space was developed by I Love LA a local Minority Business Enterprise. Westfield’s design theme for Sol Surf was “The Unexpected" and features a sculptural ceiling of curved metal ribbons expressing the movement of ocean waves sets the tone for the design which is further enhanced by utilizing sliced wood block flooring, reclaimed wood paneling accent walls and display casework. High-output LED lighting was utilized to pop the brightly colored merchandise and meet the State of California Title 24 lighting standards.
