Airport retail design is characterized by the seamless integration of individual brand standards, operating manager requirements, and location-specific opportunities that are unique to a transportation terminal. The Bliss store at Tom Bradley International Terminal exemplifies the possibilities that emerge when the design parameters provided as a framework are utilized to maximize the brand aesthetic into a simple and powerful look. The store is designed around the concept of simplicity of space letting the product speak for itself. By taking the approach of having one single material represent the overall form of the store we are able to achieve the cleanliness that Bliss strives for. Predominant white surfaces create the backdrop which showcases the products in their signature blue color. Deliberate, soft edges allude to the beauty of femininity that their customers are accustomed to having. Rivers & Christian prides themselves in executing these projects to the last detail.
