Rivers & Christian working with the new American Airlines branding guidelines for their worldwide airport facilities designed a club meeting their goal to create a new streamlined look for their clubs that is “clean and cohesive, modern and refreshing with American Craftsmanship and seamless technology". Although providing all the program amenities in such a small space was the main challenge, the new 2,400 square feet, fifty seat Admirals Club is complete with reception, main lounge, business center, cyber café, conference room, self-serve food service, kitchen, bar and restrooms within the American Eagle commuter terminal.

 

Utilizing American Airlines' specified finishes and implementation of their new technology in conjunction with energy-saving lighting, and green building technologies. The club features large format tiles, white painted plaster, and wood paneling on the walls and limited ceiling areas with carpet, tile, and terrazzo floors to give the club a clean modern look while still holding up to the extreme passenger use that 70 flights a day impose on the facility.
